Painter, drawer and sculptor born in 1893. He died in 1983.
After graduating from the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona, he becomes a student of the Galli Academy and is interested by modernist tendencies.
He makes an artistic career in France, joins surrealism in 1924 and has a significant contribution to the development of the Surrealist Art. Having used pictorial automatism allowed freedom to his technique.
Beginning with 1930, his painting follows a more abstract path. He makes mural paintings (Harvard University) and devotes himself at great length to lithography.
